ADDIDRIVE system - First hydraulic all-wheel drive transmission

They have systems designed that run on electric motors built into the hub.. This is a good concept, possibly in conjunction with a single electric drive motor and then awd delivered via hydrolic pressure..

How is the torque automatically adjusted without electronics or a Torsen differential?

Valves, probably. But they would be extremely sensible and prone to failure. A Torsen is what I would use instead

Seems so expensive, complex, heavy, and inefficient considering many vehicles these days already have enough electricity on board to supply power to hub motors to accomplish the same thing.
