Thanks for posting, Dave! I have that set too. I had to buy a second 20m low pass filter kit since I switched positions of the 391 and 181 capacitors! Call it a "teachable moment" 73 de KF5RHI

I have one of these i am planning to build for 30 meters I chose that band as it is open both day and night. Just curious why you are converting to 2oM are you going to eventually do multiple bands, need it for a particular antenna that doesnt do 30M or was there a particular reason for doing 20M.

Dave, great video; I made the same mistake you did plugging in the BPF into the LPF plug... Where did you find the 12 vdc to 5 vdc converter - I'd like to do the same. Agree, the QRP Labs website and documentation is very hard to follow or make sense of. Again, thank you for the video. BTW, I set my Ultimate3S up and turned it on this morning, but I cannot figure out how to set it to start transmitting... 73, Mark / KM6HFR

The 12v to 5v regulator came from the same person who introduced me to QRP Labs products, Michael Lloyd. It consists of a regulator chip and a couple capacitors. Regarding transmitting, you will need to *crawl* through the documentation for how to set the various settings. It took me awhile to get it working. Mine is on 20m, but at the moment I don't have it on an antenna so it's turned off.

I bought coax lmr600. Does it matter the cut measuments to put on a mechanical type end connector. I bought the end connector and it didn't come with cut measurements.
