We had the same pool in the Tuff pool version and really enjoyed it for about 10 years before we put in our in ground pool. We had ours professionally installed at it was NEVER level... no matter what they did. Maybe you have one but you will need a pool cleaner - vacuuming this pool is not easy even if you have a larger pump ( we upgraded ours)The vinyl will generate algae fast! There are not enough returns on this size pool for good circulation so we found the pool cleaner helped a lot... it was an independent cleaner that ran off it's own power. Have so much fun with it! It is a great pool. It is now being used by another family, still going strong for 17 years now!

Looks great JD. We leveled our pool last year using a mini skid steer with a 4ft bucket. Our pool is 9ft x 16ft x 4ft. It took about 3.5 tons of sand to level the area. It was fun running the mini skid steer up and down our hill. Even more fun grading out the area after dumping thr sand. I hope your family enjoys the pool. Thanks for sharing the content.

Looks great. Just gave my pool away after 20 years of good service. I would suggest buying a robotic pool cleaner. I have a Dolphin (nu use for it now) pool cleaner that runs off a low voltage controller. I bought the fine filter as well and I never vacuumed the pool.......ever LOL. It was the last one a series of robotic cleaners and by far was the best. That thing worked great and was designed for above ground pools. It rides on rubber tracks like a miniature tank and is liner friendly. Enjoy!

if your local fire dept has a tanker, most for a donation will fill pools. The fire co Im on does it all the time.

The ground could be uneven but those liners aren’t always cut straight so going off the squares for level isn’t always the best

We had a pool like that(Walmart pool) for about four years. We got a cover for it for winter in Florida (LOL) worked out great.

You're going to enjoy it so much. When the temps are in the 90's in Louisiana and I'm mowing and really suffering from the heat I drive over to the pool and jump in for a 10-15 min swim. I mow in my swim suit and a top like you had on, so I just remove my shoes and swim. One thing, when you mow you have to mow so the discharge blows away from you so you don't get covered in clippings and dust, Sometimes I just mow in one way hit the button and go back to the end of the row and start over , just depends on the wind. But you most likely have figured this out already.

I hope you and your family gets a few years of enjoyment out of your pool. When our son was young , we had a couple of the Big ,round Intek pools. 2 years is about the life of them if you leave up year round. They fail pretty spectacular. First one failed and the tidal wave washed everything off my back porch. Lol

I can’t decide if I’m just super jealous of the pool, I’ve thought about a 8’ water trough but that would mean I’d hafto fight off the cows, horses, dogs and no telling what all else especially since I live in the middle of the pasture without a fenced in yard

You could order a truck to deliver water for a faster fill. Though I’m guessing you are on a well and it’s cheaper?

The instructions tell you to use wood under the legs... those two-inch pavers will crack under pressure. Four-inchers would've been better if going the paver route.

May I ask why you used foam boards underneath? We will be doing our pool this weekend and may want to do this too?
@jamie2728 Жыл бұрын
We used foam sheets under ours when we installed last year. They insulate the bottom of the pool from the ground and also make a nice soft bottom. Highly recommend.

The pole is 12ft from the pool and wire is 25ft from the water. The pool is 6.5ft from the underground cable (more like 8' actually). The wire also does not pass over the pool at any point
