Adding a LED strip to my TV

How do you do the corners?

I mounted the led strip onto 20x1.6mm $5.36p/m aluminium strips using corner connections for bends and adhered the aluminium with the cheapest double sided tape I could find at Bunnings to just a few strategic positions. Those are just RGB but I have RGBIC coming tomorrow. Using aluminium precludes any over heating, extends the life of LED's dramatically and they stick really well if you take to the aluminium with a scouring pad first!

I dont leave it on constantly, i have it automated to turn on and off at certain times.

How do you stick the strip to the back of the tv? Do you need glue?

Hi Mate, the adhesive that was on it was useless. I bought an outdoor strong grade adhesive from my local home depot, and never comes off!

yeah its worth it, just dont use the adhesive on the led strip. Buy a better adhesive strip from your home depot store.

Nice , usually the problem that i faced with these led stripes isn’t sticky enough, after a while it take off !!! Specially on tv because it not has flat Surface!!

I use outdoor grade, double sided adhesive tape. It's stuck on my tv.
