Hey, no hate. Just giving some advice! I think you should have gone to a breeder or shelter/adoption centre first. PLEASE. You need to be educated on the facts about puppy mills and puppy farms. Please save a puppy don't go to pet stores. Even the names are bad. You don't buy a dog. It's not something you just buy and get a receipt for, you need to research the breed that you think is best for you and your child. If I were you I would do research, look at different breeds, different breeders/shelters and then get a puppy if you find the right one. Your child is not too young for s puppy, it is better to get dogs when your children are younger so they learn faster.

Big Peaaar I'm sorry you're getting hate for this comment. You shouldn't be, it's very good advice! This is something every person who wants to get a dog needs to learn. Some people who don't do their research, end up getting a dog that isn't compatible with their lifestyle. Only to end up returning the dog, which is so sad. It's really unfortunate and could be completely avoided with good research. :)

That so mean that shops keep them in glass cages :( where I live they keep them in open spaces , in fact many pet shops here don't have dogs you have to go to a breader or a dogs care home to get one.

You guys do you but I believe it's better to rescue a dog from an animal shelter. Those dogs at the pet store most likely would come from puppy mills which is a place where people over breed dogs to the point where it's unhealthy for the parents and then they separate the puppies from the mother, and keep them in small spaces jammed together with other dogs that are the same breed. Since they are jammed together they could get sicknesses quicker and easier and they would depend on each other's body heat to stay warm because most times the puppy mills don't supply the dogs with heat. Also those dogs wouldn't have no human interaction so some of the dogs would be fearful of humans and that could lead to aggression. This is very long so just search up videos or something about puppy mills because we want to end puppy mills. So it's better for me to rescue a dog. You can also young dogs there too so look there before your final decision :)
