A nice bot review, having trading bots are a stress relief they help in spotting zone you might forget or not be able to clearly see it's easier for them to mark points without being affected by emotions i think althoug trading bots are useful, full dependance on them is risky it would be better to give them semi authority than full, at the end of the day the one who makes the trades are we traders

For some reasons, in trading gold, I see a better profit when I stick to my SL, occasionally I use breakeven . But when I add trailing stop, lots of profit is taken back. What is your experience with trailing stop in gold, can trailing stop be profitable in gold?

Grid trading is high risk high reward.. It is okay if you wanna take the risk but it is not the holy grail of course ;)

Indeed, I've noticed they've only really performed okay with high volume of capital, I've coded a few to run in mt4 for cent account, it's lucrative but a good way to blow your account :C and yeah! I've given up on that hunt for the holy grail

Hi I have retyped your exact same code using dukascopy tick data and the only way to reproduce the exact backtest graph performance is to set commissions to zero

I also applied commission if I remember correctly. But I also decreased the spread to 10 points to make it more realistic. Did you do this or are you using the dukascopy spread?

I always use the real historical spread from dukascopy data when using tick data. I think real ticks data should be used with its real spread as they are linked together. If the spread was different in real, the ask and bid real prices would be different
