Yes, it can be compatible with the standard lego tracks.

It is supposed to, but do expect it to not function 100% of time time, it is prone to breakage (source: I have one)

⁠@@therealdeal680were you able to get it moving? With mine whenever i have the side rods installed, the wheels lock up and it doesnt move.

@@dominicclark5284 sorry for the late response, but yes I had gotten the same issue but I resolved it via taking it apart and aligning each wheel to be 180 degrees offset from the other side then reconnecting. Apologies in advance if I could‘t be of further assistance.
