Adding an external AMP to an XTRONS head unit

If your aftermarket head unit already says it adds 45watts to speakers off internal amp would buying this add to it or would it negate the head units amp?

Hi! I have and XTRONS Android head unit for my BMW F30, OEM stereo is dead hence Android sound cannot reach the speakers, I guess I need to install an Amplifier. Dont know how to do it for BMW F30, can you please guide?
