I dont recommend keeping any fish with alligator gar because its an aggressive species (not semi aggressive because then you can keep with other semi aggressive species as well). It means it wont get along with any other species except another alligator gar. So yeah lets see how they will do with sharks, if they get aggressive or fight , remove sharks and get another alligator gar or keep it alone
