40gig interconnect ? What do you have running on the servers other than radio traffic that could use 40gb/s?

Shit ton of VMs, along with Plex. Rn via text current link if I watch a movie and the VMs need HDD access... It will fail or take forever.

@@anongator Oh I thought that rack was more radio-focused, I guess the servers would be a bit much for only trunk control

@iwontlagback7236 nope. The trunking stuff mostly runs off the Optiplexs. The two servers have two VMs that are radio relay but otherwise they are personal.

@@anongator I'd like to build a radio-over-IP setup like you but I don't know what hardware I need or what software I need... At work they have 3 Motorola DM4600e with a USB cable and 2 audio jacks running off of them to a server, but I can't manage to figure out how they're sending the radio traffic over IP...
