Adding CHEAP Parts To My SUPREMELY Cheap Folding Bike

Not just cheap parts, but the bike itself is insanely cheap. I would say "affordable," but I'm not trying to mislead anyone. It's cheap - but I like it. Would I recommend or endorse the bike? Negative.

Got this exact same bike few days ago Added a NEW comfy saddle and have front and rear USB lights handlebar phone holder and rear rack ordered soon to be added

this is exactly what im doing with my super cheap folding bike lol. My bike is even cheaper than yours, only around 60usd converted from my currency haha, and it's brand new too. The bike itself feels cheap of course i get what i paid for but i don't mind, i'll upgrade it slowly to see how much i can push it. I'll probably end up upgrading everything and the only original part left would be the frame. Edit (9th march 2024): So far the upgrades i've done are: - new spring saddle - new paint job - new 20x2.12 tires for better bumps absorbtion - added front and rear lights - added bags for storage - new 7 speed derailleur - new 14t-34t rear freewheel cassette what i expect to upgrade soon are: - new pedals - suspension seatpost - suspension fork or suspension stem - smaller chainring probably 40t or 36t (currently have 46t) - new crankset - front cargo rack - new wider rims hopefully i can upgrade it more soon lol

I actually lost a super expensive headlight i barely used so i bought a $17 replacement to use while i saved up. Almost a year later the thing is still shining away. Nice video.

I would never be cheap with my bike. Especially as its already saving me THOUSANDS on train and bus fares every year. I say make the bike as quality as efficient as you can. And you will love riding it more. And it will tax your body less aswell. Especially on HILLS.
