That’s a lovely looking piece of rock! It’s always a gamble adding dead rock - but I’m sure the size of your tank will cope ok with it. Your display is beautiful

I like the idea you have with the Acans and the blastos IMO there’s nothing wrong in adding some established rock to the dry rock you have. Your ideas are good Rico. I would have had a little more terracing to the rock to create a slightly sloping effect but at the end of the day, if your happy with how your tank looks, that’s the most important thing. Your hard work shows

Love the rock placement I think it’ll be very good for what you’re looking at doing and it looks to be enough shadow plus if you get a stick on top that grows out I think it’ll be awesome looking.... I agree about adding any rock live or dead to an established system carefully. Your system can handle something that small and we all have to look at system size and how many pounds of rock we want to add. Slow and steady wins the race.

Always grade a A knowledge. Question for you... what’s your thoughts on using 600ft well water being used for aquarium water and thoughts on tannin. Your tank is huge how did you feel that sucker up in the beginning and what water is used for water changes.
