In this colored pencil, step by step art tutorial I'll share my simple tips and techniques for achieving a realistic effect when drawing and adding details into a very small area on Pastelmat.
The video is useful for anyone who is new to working on Pastelmat with coloured pencils or those who are more experienced and looking for ways to take their drawings to the next level. I am drawing a Zebra eye but the techniques used in this video can be applied to other animals too!
I'll explain how I add detail into the eye. I'll also share tips and demonstrate how I blend colours and use values to add depth and achieve a realistic looking eye - perfect if you are a pet portrait artist!
