Ok so basically my way is find the LCM of the denominators once you find the LCM make the LCM your new denominator. Devide the old denominator with your new denominator and multiply the old numerator and that will be your new numerator then add them copy the denominator and just add the numerator

You write the equation you find the lcd by doing the listing method where you write all the factors of both denominators then you look if theres a number that is the same as the other factor of the other denominator then you times it to a number that can make that number then when it is similar fraction add the numerators and copy the denominator then if it can be simplified simplify it to simplify, you must find the gcf/or the number that you can use to divide the numerator and the denominator and when you find the gcf simplify it.
