Dear Jeff. Thank you so much for this wonderful great gift. Also thank you so much for the time that you spend to show us those wonderful ideas

Thank you so much. I was trying to use the 'urban sidewalk' with a front boulevard, a 1.5-meter sidewalk, and without an outer boulevard. But it comes with the constant slope . Is there any way to maintain 2% slope and 1.5m sidewalk, also with variable slope and width of boulevard to connect back of curb ? I need to target the back of the sidewalk because I need to match existing grade (which may include a driveway or boulevard) outside the house. I've tried different subassemblies and the mark point but couldn't do that. Much appreciated.

Dear Mr. Jeff - appreciate also if you could go in more detail into the subassembly composer - I was quite blocked from using this wonderful tool until I googled about the subject and found your videos - watched all of them carefully and finally I started to use it

Can i use this in the intersection and then lower the curb for sidewalk?

Hey Jeff, I started on video 2 then backtracked and i have just recently started using target by layer and have made amazing personal breakthroughs in faster grading. I have ran into a problem with custom subassemblies not at all for users other than myself on a previous job and abandoned using them. It actually cost me some time to have to go back an recreate the corridor to fix the errors other users were getting. I want to use this so bad, but I need to create something multiple users have the ability to edit. Can you explain how the custom subassemblies are saved and how to share this data with other users? Thank you. (If this is covered in another video, a link would work perfectly) I feel like I am really locked out of civil 3d functionality by having to only use "out the box" subassemblies.

Could you share your sidewalk subassembly?

Hi Mariuz, There is a link to download the subassembly in the video description. Hope this helps!

i really need a video on using elevation targets for a warped pavement with curbs going into an intersection with a cross gutter,. my problem is with the flowline elevation difference from the lip of gutters. typically a curb has more depth from lip to flowline than a cross gutter. im having a hard time finding a consistent way to deal with this difference in elevations. i can explain more if needed. maybe even a video chat to explain. thanks for the content Jeff

Thanks you Mr. Jeff for your contribution - it is really very valuable, I would assume that any engineer working on the roadway design using C3D should watch and learn from your videos - just one wish could you please make data available (for example: for your series - advanced corridor modelling ) - Best Regards

i think you can find the data set here a360.co/1Pte4xI

Thank you kaackster - appreciate your help very much - just one additional question - is the data for the series advanced corridor modelling also available ?
@kaackster7 жыл бұрын
Is that a series done by Jeff Bartels? the advanced roadway design series is about building a corridor. I am not aware of a series for the advanced corridor design.
@anwaralattar17 жыл бұрын
yes, it was by Jeff and you are right it's title was advanced roadway design - that's the one I hoped to find data for

Typically he posts his material in the description of the video. Just hit the show more right under the video, and you should find a link.
