This video makes it look so simple. I’m lost. I know this is an older video. But I just got a Pandora Plus box on Amazon. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. The games pop up at the end of the games list with just a number. For example the game says “ 26801 “ and the picture for that game says “ New Game” but when I try to start it , nothing happens. I’m doing this all in mac. I don’t know if that matters or not. Thank you kindly for any help.

Mr. Brubaker i converted my SF2 broken 1up to pandora simply by buying an old dell 17” screen ($35) and mounting it inside where the old silver screen was. Then i unscrewed the SF2 console and pulled it out and replaced it with my pandora 9. I used double sided tape and mounted it and it looks and plays great.

Hi there. I was browsing for a tutorial video. To add games to pandora 6. I have used mame arcade software in my computer for a long time. I have working roms that i have dowloaded and played them with no issues. But there is an little issue once i added roms to my pandora's 6 mame folder. The roms open, but they are running very slow. My laptop is old and does not do that. Have u encounter this issue?. If did and u solve it. Please teach me if i am doing something wrong. I have a Vewlix cab, i unboxed today

I know this is an older video but I am just now getting to adding my own games and could use a little help. I understand the process of acquiring the roms and was able to get the 1300 games provided on fine but my files are setup a little differently on my USB and am unsure where to add the new files. I only have 3 main files; Movies, Roms, and RomsSP. Do I need to restructure the way I have the files setup or should I leave them alone and add the files to folder that just says Roms? Thanks!

I have clone version of Pandora’s Box 6. It says Grogou in the background. I do not have a Udisk, but I have formatted one an tried to add extra games. When I install the drive in the USB port the screen says udisk installed and u disk mounted. Am I capable of adding games to this or just doing something wrong?

When I downloaded the provided files for my Pandora's Box 6, after unzipping them the total file size was big than the provided 16 gb USB stick. Should it have fit? I'm slightly confused on why it didn't.

Pandora's Box PSA9. I plugged it in to my old computer, which has a ton of ROMS on the hard drive and a multitude of emulators. Windows 7. I go into the control panel and click on the Pandora controller icon to see what I can access inside the Pandora. No files can be accessed. It only works as an external game controller. I tried everything. Anyone have this problem?

Don Draper That’s a great question, I feel like I had it working in the past but I can’t recall. I don’t currently have it on there but I remember encountering the same problem that you did. I don't believe the PB 5 supported adding games, it's been a while since I published this video, so I haven't stayed up to date on this. Joe Pino Are you using a Mac? If so it’s the metadata crap that apple puts on the drive. It’s usually hidden on a Mac itself but shows up funky on non Mac systems. There’s a cleaning tool I’ve been using that gets rid of all that. Or you could just use a PC and you won’t have this issue.

Nope the usb key is empty, they will send you a link, you zip archive them and after that, drop the whole thing on the blank usb they provide you

Nick Vela If it’s the official Pandora’s Box 6 and not a bootleg then it no longer comes pre-loaded with games. The company will provide you with a link to the games so you can download them. If for some reason you don’t receive the link just let me know and I will help you out. 👍🏻. The bootleg versions of the Pandora’s Box (and there are MANY of them) come preloaded.

also some times they come with bootleg thumb drives but any 16gb thumb drive or larger formatted to Fat32 will do.

Depends where you get it. My pandoras box has a USB with all the games preloaded. And yes it is an actual PB. The "official store" on aliexpress doesn't ship with preloaded games. I bought from another store. Received it in about 8 days.

i know its been 4 months but i hope this can be a help for you anyway dragons lair and space ace arent exe files. the exe is a "downloader" tool which is usually adware or a virus. most of the time, a rom site will automatically download an exe instead of the real rom, but there is sometimes a little arrow under the "download" button which will let you download the real rom, which in the case for mame is zip.

christophersmith588 You caught me as I was about to go to sleep. If you’re talking about the roms that 3A games provides via the link they send you, those go in the “roms” directory. If you put them in any other directory, they will NOT show up in the menu. Also... ensure your putting the USB key in the right slot in the back of the Pandora’s box. I believe it’s the one that’s the opposite direction of the other 2 USB slots.

I was after a slightly more categorised list with thumbnails maybe of games that def work 100%. Wasn't sure if there was one kicking about online somewhere? Assuming it’s got the same IDE style cable than typically yes. I have one had one stick that didn’t work interchangeably and it was one of the Pandora’s Key 7 boards. Most of the are wired in the same way so all the buttons will work. It’s not a guarantee but it’s worked most of the time for me. If it doesn’t , some remapping of the buttons might be necessary, just FYI. I hope this helps. 👍🏻

Retro Ralph thank you! Also when I look at some of the games on the list like some 3D racing games like I seen rush for the old 64. I feel like that would be hard to play with a joystick. Do certain games require a usb controller or something? And I feel like some games need more than 6 buttons. Sorry I’m new to this stuff and a little confused
