I wonder what it says about me that I learned about bases fifteen minutes ago and tried to figure out how I would add them, and the answer I got was correct despite the method being different. I realized you can add it together as though it's base ten, then subtract the base and carry a one. Like, here, for 234 base five plus 143 base five, 4 plus 3 is seven minus 5 is two, carry the one since you subtracted five once, 3 plus 4 plus the carried one is eight minus 5 is three, carry the one, 2 plus 1 plus one is 4, making 432.

But mam when in base 10 we r allowed till 9 so why u put 10 in tabpe and u said that base 5 will be 5 my question is why u put 10 in base 10 ?and u said 20 will be in base 5 on contrary with base 10
