Looking good. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a yellow Bleeding Heart found on marketplace. Whitney, you can also divide your 2 Lungworts for the other side. I had 2 fuller ones & divided into 6 plants. They will grow fuller the following year. This fall I'm going to divide more, they are really full now. Don't worry about them looking thin, they really get FULL next year. 😅

A yellow bleeding heart😮 I might have to get one for myself LOL. I will probably divide a few perennials in the fall as well

Agree fully with the lungwort, Heuchera, Ajuga, and oak leaf group. Great together and colorful and bloom at different times 👍 Heuchera and lungwort make good ground covers. It was strange when the cicadas suddenly stopped... actually kinda scary! To me. Garden on! Looking forward to seeing more!

Yeah I don't know maybe it was an early morning thing for the cicadas LOL 🤷🏾♀️ I'm just glad they eventually got quiet for the video

Whitney, (if it were me) I would move one of the lungwort to the other side, place one of the hostas you got next to it, or near it on each side and maybe line the section of the path with the liriope where you took the lungwort out (mirror it like the side you just planted..). So you would then have lungwort, Hosta, ajuga, blackpearl, ajuga, blackpearl, ajuga, blackpearl, Hosta, lungwort and a section of liriope lining the path on each side, with the oakleaf in the back & in the middle of it all. That could work for the rest of the season & then you would have some time to look at it and think about it for a cpl of months & if you don’t like it, change it up in the spring. 🤷🏼♀️ I bet you could even tuck in the green corabells near the black pearl ones to make them pop. Like 1 on each side.. plant a purple clematis to climb the wishing well.. whatever you decide and plant I know it’s going to be beautiful 😊♥️ sorry you keep getting rained out while filming!

🤔 that's a thought. That area is getting much more Sun than I originally thought it would. So might have to change it up a bit more anyway. And the clematis might actually work because of the fact that it's getting more sun.

Its looking good! I think the hardest part is waiting for the plants to mature. Nothing like a good rain after planting, rain is the best remedy to set plants on their way. everything is really coming together. love it! Genie :)

Hi Miss T. I love your ideas and have one small suggestion you might consider. How about a wider path to accommodate a wagon etc, so you aren’t carrying bags of mulch. Save your back. Just a thought.
@creatingyourgarden2 ай бұрын
I do have wider paths in some areas of the garden... I don't think I could get around not carrying any bags of mulch due to the fact that the entry points of the garden are on a hill. Sometimes it's just easier to carry a bag of mulch than loading my wheelbarrow and having to fight it all the way down the hill to not flip over LOL

@@creatingyourgarden We have similar properties and I’m always afraid I will bump into a 🐍. So for this reason I like a wide opening.

Its lookin good. I love your calmness. Im hoping my cucumber/jalapeno pepper garden will be ok. Hurricane debby screwed everything up down here in tampa for me. I think im able to save 4 cucumber plants and 6 jalapeno pepper plants. eeeeppp darn it.

I'm guessing it was the deer that have destroyed my peppers... I went to the vegetable garden in the other day and my banana pepper plant was split in half. With half eaten peppers on the ground... hope they enjoyed that hot bite LOL they didn't touch my jalapeno pepper plant though and we only received a little rain from Debbie

@@creatingyourgarden haven't had that yet. I had to rescue toads that have fallen in mine. We live in a swampy area. I'm also creating new spaces in my garden. It's about 25 years old now. I have to rejuvenate the soil. I used to be able to dig like you but I got old and no good. Your soil seems something like mine. I have to make hills.😊🌹

@@mollylittlewolf9192 I love toads! And maybe an auger would be a good tool for you to have to help you dig holes. 🤷🏾♀️ I use one sometimes. I bet your 25 year old garden is gorgeous. 💕
