Teşekkürler hocam I wanna ask though, what's the difference between this and diği zaman or diğinde.. Can I use them informally too?😊
@LearnTurkishTheEasyWay2 жыл бұрын
Erika, Ben gelince.. Ben geldiğimde.. Ben geldiğim zaman.. All three mean the same thing. They are just variations you can use formally or informally. But the most formal would be the third one.

i don't understand the "insan yaslaninca gec oluyor" sentence. what does it really mean? doesn't really make sense in English. could you please explain? thanks
@LearnTurkishTheEasyWay2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it is kinda meaningless in English, but it is out of a specific context. Imagine your friend advices you to travel the world after being retired. You might say, it is usually late to travel when one grows older. That was the meaning in the sentence. It has a meaning about a future, but still using present continuous tense OLUYOR to describe the situation in general. So, in essence, it is late (to do something) when one grows older. Does it help? :)

@LearnTurkishTheEasyWay2 жыл бұрын
It is right, yes. You can also translate it as “You would die when you find it”.
