This is the clearest and most useful explanation of the new depth mask feature. I can tell you rehearsed this - no bumbling and fumbling, much appreciated! I learned something here that I did not learn elsewhere. Great voice, great pacing too. Thank you!

Glad you liked it. And yes, all my videos are planned in advance and fully scripted. I record the sound first and then the editing separately before combining the two. It takes me 1-2 hours effort for evey minute of video. It's a lot longer than most would spend but I think it produces a better result. I'm glad you noticed.

Hi Robin, amazing what's possible with editing software today. But to be honest, I personally anyway prefer to photograph a scene with the real weather. There are ways to get quite accurate forecasts for photography weather. Adding some fog in post is something I would do maybe very, very subtle. Just to emphasize what is already there. But then it is definitely a good idea to do it the way you showed 😉

On1 is good software. I've used it for years but tend to use it for the effects filters rather than much else. It's only because I have such a wide choice of software (which I buy to do the videos/tutorials) that I don't use it more. I could probably do most of my editing using only On1 if I wanted to.
