It is amazing what you guys are doing! Great work! One question - when blocks are deleted, does the corresponding CSS get deleted as well?
@SquareKicker_SQSP2 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, Thanks so much! Yes, when you delete a block or section the responding SquareKicker code is deleted to ensure the speed and performance of your site. The one difference is with pages where your SK code is saved for 30days to align with Squarespace's page recovery.

I have a question about scrolling animation: Is it possible to have a video playback speed controlled by scrolling? For example, a 10 second clip that is controlled by scrolling,. scroll down plays the video forward and when scrolling up it plays backward? That way the viewer can dictate that action and speed of the video clip. Obviously it would only be a short animation clip to fit in the timeline. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Brent, sorry Scrolling Effect will not do this. The only way to accomplish this is through exporting a video a a series of frames and changing the frame based on a scroll position. An example can be seen on the Apple website and could be accomplished with a custom Lottie animation. All the best.

Im assuming if we cancel subscript later when no longer working the website all the coding goes away? Meaning we will forever pay 15-60 a month?
@SquareKicker_SQSP2 жыл бұрын
No you only have to pay while you are using the tools! Once you have finished your design you can turn off the auto renew and all your custom code will stay with the site. Check out our website for more FAQs squarekicker.com

I'm trying to replicate the split image animation. I think I understand the animation settings, but how did you split the image to begin with?
@SquareKicker_SQSP2 жыл бұрын
Hi Gene, the images was split using a design program outside of Squarespace and then uploaded as two seperate images.
@GeneVarnado2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I got that part. The image was sliced in Photoshop. I’m trying to understand how you brought the two images together in Squarespace. Are they in two separate image containers? From what I can see, it looks like one container. If it is two containers, how are you able to remove the image padding to align them seamlessly.
@SquareKicker_SQSP2 жыл бұрын
@@GeneVarnado sorry I missunderstood you. This is two image blocks side by side using the SquareKicker full bleed image tool to remove the padding.

Why is the music in this video so weird.

"Weird: adj. - A state of being where you have one foot in reality and the other in a world of your own creation, where the laws of physics don't always apply and the phrase 'that's impossible' is a challenge, not a limitation. A place where the unconventional is the norm, and being called 'normal' is the ultimate insult. A place where creativity flows like a river, and the world is your canvas to shape, mold, and bend to your will."

Way too expensive $300 a year for a plugin that sets animation code? I could spend $50-100 to own it. Not justifiable otherwise.

Hi Ben, you only need an active subscription to create custom changes, and then when your done you can cancel and keep all your changes.
