Our stockings had Apple, orange, candy cane, pecans, walnuts, strawberry and cinnamon candy, sometimes a toy.

I hope your travels are safe and you enjoy your holidays . One time I had the same mindset about Goodwill; however, my daughter and her husband had two special needs girls. Goodwill provided different services for them. In addition to the evaluations they needed. They helped one in getting into a vocational school and the other with getting her first job. They are a nonprofit organizations. The money they make goes to help the different community programs that they offer.

Right now I got to wait till winter is over to go get all my stuff out my storage in Iowa same size y'all have is $220 can I go and get things out of there put everything for sale 2 throwing away and give it to the Goodwill anybody who wants something I got to close that storage.I haven't had time so many emergencies has went on back to back in my family I won't be going any more to St Louis no more. I still have family there. See-Do any churches have emergency things for like people getting burned out like flood,s and need help

I try to donate to programs that help people furnish their homes after a "situation" but sometimes I can't make it happen. I tell myself donating to Goodwill is OK, especially since we live in an area that they provide all kind of training and employment opportunities so at least someone is benefiting besides corporate!
