This is absolutely beautiful and makes your tree custom! Instead of spending a couple thousand dollars on a tree this year, I’m going to buy a less expensive one and spruce it up. So excited to do this! Thank you!

I have had a plain green tree for years which I love. But I wanted a flocked tree last Yr for a change but to expensive to change. BUT I bought a flocked tree in the sale ( was 100e bought for 16e in sale). I then cut all the flocked branches off and stuffed them into my plain tree. Worked a treat. With any extra branches left over y I used accross my fireplace and accross my bay window. Saved a fortune. IRELAND

So what would you recommend as to how many pieces of stems to add for a 6’ tree
@REVELATIONDESIGN2 жыл бұрын
The more stems you add the fuller of a look you will get, but we recommend 3 stems per foot at a minimum. This also depends on the fullness of each greenery stem.

It seems to cover the lights up too much , except for the smaller light stems.
@REVELATIONDESIGN Жыл бұрын
The great thing about the stems is that as you walk around the tree, the lights are exposed between the added stems and leaves with every angle. You can also add more lights or push the stems in deeper into the tree.
@dianamorris53272 жыл бұрын
When you stuff the tree with stems, it doesn't look like you are securing them to the branches, and how do you keep the tree from falling over with the extra weight on the front. We have had our tree fall over with just the ornaments on the front if the tree. Our tree is filled with memories, each ornament is a gift or something chosen to represent a trip or occasion like our anniversary, they can't be replaced and can't be lost in a tree crashing to the ground. Help..
@klbs96302 жыл бұрын
It sounds like your problem is the actual tree you’re using. If it’s a real tree those take decorations very differently than an artificial tree. If you have an artificial tree and you’re having it fall over then there’s either a problem with your base/stand and trees infrastructure or it’s just an overall lightweight flimsy made tree. I’ve got 4 trees up in my house, two 7’ skinny pencil trees from Walmart that I’ve used for over 7 years now, 1 very cheap crappy quality 6’ tree I’ve had for so long I can’t even remember wear I got it from and 1 8’ higher end flocked tree that I’ve used for about 10 years now. All 4 trees get extra lights, lots of ribbons, tons of sprigs/sprays/picks, larger decor items I wire in, oversized ornaments, ornament clusters etc. I have always done ornate trees and I’ve never personally or known anyone have any issue with their tree falling (unless they have a cat or a faulty/poorly built tree). If your tree can too easily wobble, rock or rotate when you’re decorating it there’s a good chance the problem is within the frame of the tree and tree stand. You might try weighting your tree base to your floor with weights and some ties and then covering it with a tree collar. You could also possibly try some sturdy gauge wire and halfway up the trunk of your tree loop the wire and extend it out the back towards your wall that the tree back is up against and secure it to the wall with and anchor hook, kind of like how a heavy mirror or tall bookshelf gets anchored to the wall
@therebelrevival5327 Жыл бұрын
You also need to balance the weight equally on a tree. If you're mostly decorating one side of a tree, it's going to naturally fall over because of basic physics unless you have an extra wide heavy stand or something like an iron patio umbrella stand.
@REVELATIONDESIGN Жыл бұрын
The tree should not fall over no matter how many stems or ornaments you have on it. If you have this issue, make sure your tree is all the way in the stand and the stand is sturdy enough for your tree and it’s secure. We decorate one side of 20 trees we set up in the shop and mostly one side of every tree we set in client’s homes depending on the view points of the clients path. Invest in a good tree, like Allstate, Raz, Melrose or any other high quality tree.

I would like to know if anyone has done this but used REAL branches?? I would imagine real pine or spruce bows would have to be in a water pick of some sort. Does anyone make a large water pick for this purpose?
@Brookeraulerson5 ай бұрын
The fresh branches have been used before with no water source. They last about a week. They are much heavier than the artificial so it does pull on the tree quite a bit. Pine works the best. There are large water tubes available for this purpose.
