I would say it needs proper mixing but it is mid 2000 trap music. She's young guys cut her some slack. Also she composed that beat unlike other cut, copy and paste beat makers.

Know its a short showcase video, but I'm just throwing this out there. I'm just commenting on the strings. It seem kinda tough to make Spitfire strings really work, when producing Trapp music. Sound like the strings are clashing, they needs velocity adjustments, and probably a few lower notes. I really don't feel that "sinister" sound of "Trapp"

I really welcome Spitfire branching out in the style they present their libraries being capable of 😊 and to have a young creative on is cool! Feels more down to earth than sample companies can sometimes be. Nice stuff lollypopbeatz 😁

Jesus that kick and 808 on the left channel is freaking me out, also everything cancels out like crazy in mono which kinda makes no sense for trap sine its gonna be played on a lot of tiny speaker xD

A lot of haughty people in the comments… There is absolutely no right or wrong way to use a library and you’re free to use any feature you want. I think most of the people putting out these comments are a little bit stuck in the idiomatic orchestral realm and don’t understand that sampled instruments can be reshaped and used in any genre of music. If I were to advertise this library, yes I probably would’ve chosen an artist that’s a little more creative with the colors and textures that this library can provide but if she wishes to use well sampled strings for a trap instrumental, so be it ! Stay creative :)

Not bad, I too use spitfire audio's plugins as well but not the abbey road type of strings, I just bought myself albion colossus yesterday but I do attend to make music based on books I write and of course do voice overs like this one for example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXivoGt8nLx5hZI

Totally disagree. Realistically is the string part ever going to be played by an orchestra. Probably not. It's a synth using a string sound. If its ever played live it'll be done on a synth. I dint get this whole 'it doesn't sound like an orchestra thing' it doesn't because it's not.

The reason why it's not a...."must"...is because thousands of trap producers--and hip hop producers in general--already use straight up synth "strings", just as millions of people have done since the dawn of non-live string or string-like sounds in music. The benefit of using a Spitfire library to do it is to have synth-like strings in your beat that don't sound like typical synth strings.

For those of you that is talking down on this video, you don't have to be a professional string orchestral purist to make a trap beat. It's all about the attitude, bounce and vibe of the beat. The strings just adds a little color to the beat. So chill out.....
