Is there a word or code ActiveShape? For instance using a vbcode, i want to write something on the selected shape without seeing its name on the namebox. like in a similar manner ActiveCell.value = "Hello". I want to write some text on the selected shape or activeshape which its name is not known to me (using vb code). Please help.

Yes to add text to a shape is a bit of a pain. docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/api/excel.textframe.characters
