Adding the numbers from 1 to 100 (Gauss' Method)

Hi. I recently see a small snippet of a TV show in the UK in August 2022. It told a story about a young 7-year-old German boy in Class. Carl Friedrich Gauss. His teacher set a task for the class. And Carl in his own mind sees that 100+1 = 101, 99+1=101. All the way to 50+51=101. Your Video on KZbin is enlightening and descriptive to the point of clear understanding. Another explanation I would appreciate would be the origin of pi and 22/7 (3.142) How the genius, in observation sees the obvious. In that, the Diameter times pi is equal to the Circumference.
