The swaying motion on trains is called hunting, it's affected by the shape of the wheels. Train wheels are shaped like cones which is what allows them to take corners, some trains have steeper or shallower wheels than is "standard" depending on the use. The trains of DLR in London have very conical wheels, allowing them to take sharper turns, but resulting in the hunting on straight sections. Conversely, high speed trains often have very flat wheels which allow them to travel faster without experiencing the hunting effect, but meaning that turns have to be very shallow.

@@realquadmoo Tilting is rather more deliberate/manmade than hunting is. Hunting is caused by the wheels, and can occur on any track, whereas tilting is caused by the mechanical suspension trying to keep the G-Forces normal, so tilting only happens in curves.

I think two features would really improve the experience: - Being able to tilt rails on long curves so the whole train tilts. This would be awesome for trains travelling on medium-high speeds on curves. - General collision detection. Basically allow being run-over by trains.

In immersive railroading, you can drift trains lol also you will die if you get run over and double decker is supported

New features look SOOOO cool! I have a suggestion that would improve the experience of high speed rail, or general trains itself: A function which would allow you to record many 'words' or 'numbers' and a block that allows you to play back these recordings in a specific order. This will make our lives so much easier for train announcements, and I would be very happy if you consider it.

Awesome job, Jonathan! I really love how you did the select signal to signal line(s) implementation. So happy with that. Wonderful to follow the progress of the mod in this way. Motivates me to keep supporting you on both Patreon (which more people should do ;) ) and the Discord server as much as you seem to be motivated to deliver a fabulous MTR mod 4.0.0. Hello, I have a suggestion for a future update! Could you make it so that when a train goes over a switch or a tight turn a realistic sound is heard? I think that could bring additional realism! I also wanted to congratulate you on everything you have done for this mod so far! Thank you,

I think the players should tilt with the trains because we all have that same momentum (and if you have been on a Talgo on Amtrak Cascades, they tilt) Edit: Actually it looks really nice so idk!

Hey I know you probably don’t take suggestions but I think it’d be a great help if airplanes would wait for the signal block containing the landing zone to be clear. If the zone isn’t clear they just do circles around the landing zone until they can get in. I just find it a bit immersion breaking when my planes keep driving through each other on the runway and ignoring the signals.
