Better make my mark when I still can. I'd like to look back on this time as fondly as I can just to see how far I've come, not to say your music has made me all better emotionally but it's been there and it's so nice to know I'm not the only person to feel this way. You even helped me figure out that I am trans. Thank you for everything, I'll always support you and your music. Edit: This song is going to provide me so much comfort.

I'm here again rediscovering this after coming out as transmasc. I had been out as nonbinary for almost half a decade. I struggled with a lot of internalized transphobia bc I hadn't seen a boy that looked like me. Everyone else seemed to pass and everytime I tried I felt embarrassed cause I felt like a joke. Even to my trans friends. Addison has helped me fall in love with myself. This song has helped me realize that I don't need a boy that looks like me bc I am a boy like me. I am worthy I wouldn't be who I am today without Addison.

As a transmasc I still struggle I found a GNC (gender non confirming) person who I want to look like but people will still assume my gender based off of one of my names and I hate it. I go by both Mori and Felix. I've started using Felix more but the name Mori is super important to me and I don't want it to disappear but yk that's the life

I'm trying to figure out myself and how to get trought life, even tho I feel completly lost, specially now. I'm nonbinary/queer and I feel like nobody gets me sometimes, or that none of this matters at all. Recently I found out many of my friend who I trusted the most said very mean things about me. I feel like I am constantly messing everything up but I don't actually know how to make things right. At this point I'm really convincedt nobody likes me. I am starting in a new school in a few days and I don't know anyone there. I know I will be alone again for while. I'm scared. I am turning fifteen in exactly a week (fabruary 2nd), but I still feel twelve. This song feels like a hug. Thank you very much. (Sorry for the bad english)

I love this. It feels like reading girl interrupted. Hitting a wall and finding out you are very limited; you can only be one thing now and choosing to be gentle. this is already my new comfort song. I've been struggling so much the past few years and this song feels like everything I needed to be told. I'm thinking about how far I've come in everything, but especially in my journey as a trans guy. I'm months away from my first appointment with a gender clinic, I'm going to legally change my name within the next year, I finally have family and friends who support me and let me feel confident in myself, and I've gotten to a point where I can see myself in the mirror and feel (at least somewhat) GOOD about how I look. I'm proud of myself and I hope I always remember that. thank you so much for this song

This song is so comforting and so sad at the same time. Your music always feels like when I first discovered my love for poetry. I loved poetry because my whole life communicating with people felt so hard. Everyone felt so far away. Poetry made me feel like even if I never met the author and they never knew me I wasn’t alone because I hadn’t been the only one to feel this way. It felt like human connection in the way only shared experience can give you
