Interesting Pov. How could Pron be a replacement for a sex life when its just you getting off to the sex lives of others? You are just watching other people doing what you want to do and pretending that you are replacing the fundamental desire that you have. I can't follow that logic and i think that is the disconnect. It is possible to use alcohol for good and in moderation. It is possible to use pron in moderation but not for good. Pron is a machine that derives pleasure from envy. If you had overcome your lust and embraced your virginity you would not be watching pron. Pron stifles the real cultivation of virtue because it allows you to side step the real internal development of personality that would be required to achieve anything of value. Pron is not the only thing that does this, it is just one of many.

I have similar idea of porn that you have. Being anti-pron/secks work thinks in absolutes. Now one thing I don't like is how it's romanticized however, especially towards younger women like myself. The lifestyle is for a small group of people, and that's fine. We all have our place in society. Not everyone is built for that life. Another bone I have to pick is women who think pron is going to replace us. Which if you peel back the layers, circles back to sounding super sexist. Pron was made to only ever replace secks.
