Minimum wage is supposed to be the minimum income it takes to LIVE. Which used to mean: driving a car, having a home, having a modest wedding, having a child or two, and being able to feed your family and live your life without scraping by day to day. How much Trish talks about feeding hungry kids makes me really happy that they touched on this topic, though I wish they went a little deeper into it. Many children in Canada and the US are living hungry and impoverished lives because the minimum wage no longer meets the minimum requirements for living

I'm 34 and have been working full time jobs for 20 years now and will NEVER be able to retire, buy a home, buy a new vehicle, or further my education. And it's not because I don't work hard. I work 40 hours weeks at 18 dollars an hour in a double income household and STILL can't pay all my bills without going without meals or not buying anything for myself. Minimum wage should be 20 an hour everywhere. I said what I said.

minimum wage is so teenagers can work and small businesses are able to stay afloat. obviously most teens don’t need to pay for a house or car since they are supported by their parents, and small businesses cannot afford to pay high wages. a minimum wage job is not for an adult with regular living expenses. it doesn’t make sense to equate minimum wage to a living wage when a huge portion of the workforce does not necessarily need a living wage.

Dj here. About grimes set. There’s a glitch in the CDJ system where when you beat-match a track with something twice the BPM, it automatically matches (doubles) instead of setting to the closest perfect ratio. Grimes most likely practiced on a different CDJ system without the glitch and when she plugged her tracks in she wasn’t prepared for that to happen. This has happened to me multiple times but it’s always random so I feel for her you could tell she was embarrassed:(

Love Brittany and canceled both so much This drama is really sad Brittany describe her social media presence as the “relatable bestie girl” I think at some point all of us have been friends or at least spoken with people who’s actions we don’t approve of- past or current actions. That’s relatable. Brittany called Theo out on his own podcast for making situations more racist than they necessary with his voice and/or mannerisms. Brittany has admitted to her fans already by saying on her podcast that she keeps up with tana content “for the complete chaos of it all” The “holier than thou” attitude in Brittany’s response really bothered me. Tana and Brooke are very honest and open with their fuck-ups and take becoming better seriously. It’s apparent. If brittany is friends with tana and Brooke behind the scenes, and still thinks her podcast would be tainted by them, it really just makes me sad-as Brittany’s fan- because it means to me that she’s either not who I thought she was, or she’s just not as honest with us as I’ve always felt like she has been… 💔
