I have a career in dentistry in the states. It really is a hard decision to decide what is best for a persons teeth. Conservative is always the better choice. First, take really good care of them brushing (and flossing which not many people do consistently.) Your own teeth are always better than dental implants, partials, or dentures. Everyone I talk with who has lost (or chosen) to remove their natural teeth wish they could go back and get them back. {search Gingival sulcus}. This space is very important to keep clean. Brushing with bristles angled around 45 degrees into the sulcus and flossing as deeply as possible while pressing against the tooth to scrape the plaque. Going to your dentist 2x/year for a professional cleaning and exam. Think about it... Love you and your precious family.

I've seen other KZbinrs I watch charge a lot more for it and I was honestly shocked at the low price you put out for us. As a KZbinr myself, I see your thinking for sure. Mate, that's not what people are trying to say. Some people don't have the choice to join due to losing their job etc and not having the money to. So for those viewers to be left in the dark, it's not a good time. We don't want to be without either, so it's not a great place for many of us to be. We want to know about the exciting news or the unfiltered chats etc, and it's not great to be sat in the dark due to lack of money.

Hey Jonathan. I'm in dental hygiene school and we learned that NOTHING is as good as the real thing. Having fake teeth isn't all sunshine and rainbows unfortunately 😔 I would definitely recommend braces if you don't think you can commit to invisalign because once those braces are on you are committed whether you wanna be or not lol. I think some places also do braces on the inside of your teeth so you barely notice you have them aesthetically. But if the integrity of your teeth are in good shape then don't pull them, in my humble opinion. Much love to you all!!

I am considering getting invisalign or regular braces( the small ones that have no color) do you have a recommendation on which are better? I’ve heard that invisalign can cause cavities, or may not be the best method to move the teeth. My teeth are fine just a little crowded at the front, but my bite is ok. I appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

@Moon Child Hi, it's not that veneers are bad necessarily... I think it's more of people don't know that there are even cons that exist in the first place when it comes to restorative work like veneers or implants. It's really depends on the individual.

@@anga8122 Both methods increase your likelihood of cavities simply because people who have braces/invisalign need to keep up impeccable oral hygiene which is hard for most people even without braces. So brush 20 min after each meal, at least 2x a day, electric tooth brush, flossing really well, etc - is what I mean by impeccable. I would advise emphasizing to your dentist that you do not want you teeth moved too fast, that is where you run in to a lot of problems. But again that goes for both invisalign and braces. I hope you find yourself a great dentist!

I’m forty 46 and just got Invisalign to fix my crooked teeth, in hindsight I probably would have gone with clear braces instead. Although they are working perfectly well, having to take them out to eat and drink every single time is pain. But I would definitely recommend doing it, you won’t regret it. I’ve had mine for nearly a year now and that year has gone so quick you won’t even notice. Definitely do it!

I already commented about the teeth situation but I feel I have to comment again in support of you both. My daughter has been watching your videos since before Emilia was born. 4 years ago we were lucky enough to meet you during The Big Walk in Cardiff. It was a completely free event and we had 5 mins with you one to one, we took lots of photos and selfies (not me, my daughter lol), again there was NO cost whatsoever! We have been to a few book signings and other KZbinr events but yours stood out the most to me because you actually spent time with us and it wasn’t rushed so for that I thank you. My daughter is 16 now and still watches you, and I have been subscribed for a few years too. You have never asked for anything, you give yourselves completely to your subscribers. You are not changing anything about your schedule or channel so I can’t see why anyone has the right to complain! If they don’t want to or unable to pay the small fee for the membership that is totally fine, but don’t feel bad about it guys. The Ace family were charging $20 for their Ace Club membership! I think it’s pretty cool how you addressed it today. I personally tried signing up but I only watch KZbin on an iPad and it didn’t work. I was curious but not super interested but like you said not everybody is going to be interested and that’s OK.Some people have an issue with the cost some people have an issue with the ethics behind it because although two dollars isn’t a lot of money, two dollars times 50,000 subscribers is a lot of money to earn every month off just having a conversation. But if people are interested in watching you and Anna converse and it’s worth it to them then that’s great.Teasing about content people are missing in my opinion is totally uncool. I think all your subscribers are now up to speed with what the options are. Asking people to sign up every time you do a video seems a little odd, and if it were me I would just post it with a link or whatever information they need to sign up and only discuss it very occasionally for new viewers. Anyway that’s my two cents, loved the video today.

If one day the fomo gets really bad, I’d honestly wait until there’s a ton of exclusive videos out, pay for a month sub, binge it all, then cancel the membership until the next time I binge. Johnathan I’ve had that done, all new teeth! My natural teeth were so bad, breaking, cracking, needing pulling out - I spent thousands over the years on fixing them. Eventually I had all new teeth and I feel amazing I can smile with all my teeth and not ALWAYS be self conscious of horrible teeth 😎

Ashley Rose I’ve had dental implants, they took months and months to make. But they’re made in Denmark and by highly skilled dental experts and are so durable. I believe this is the most expensive way to replace teeth, but also the most comfortable and natural. 😊 The total cost was around £12,000. I’ve had them a few years now. 👍🏻

You notice more imperfections when you’re watching yourself on video which they do all the time while editing so therefore you’re going to start to compare yourself to others wanting what they have. My husband had all his top teeth pulled to get implants but the process is long. It’s been about 9 months and he still doesn’t have them finished. Not sure if the process is always so long though....

I have been watching you guys for years and it does make me sad that there is now content that I can’t afford to watch. What is really hard to swallow is when you tease in your regular vlogs about content that can only be viewed if you subscribe to your paid only content. I don’t want to cause drama just letting you know how some people feel. I watch other creators that also have content that you have to pay for, but they don’t tease about it in there regular videos. Just so you know I would love to subscribe, but I can’t afford it.

If you think about it, what you are offering for people to join is very similar to what airlines and other businesses do. You can book a regular seat on the airplane as many do, BUT if you choose to you can buy a first class ticket. Th e regular seats still get to fly to their destination as they normally do, while the first class seats will get you to the same destination but with a glass of wine in their hands. Food restaurants do something with reward cards. I don’t see why it’s a deal, and for the price you are doing it is a good deal. I’ve seen other KZbinrs do their memberships at $5-$10 a month.

I’ve done smile direct which is similar to Invisalign. I was worried I couldn’t to commit to it cause it a lot of wear time. My plan is good though cause I only wear them at night for two weeks at a time so it suits me better it just takes longer.
