I agree, Kylie's personal brand could be perceived as empty or lacking a message or purpose, since her content always revolves around consumerism and obvious superficiality. But at the same time, perhaps I am also being superficial by making a judgment on someone whose activities simply do not connect with mine? People need to stop making excuses for these billion dollar companies. It does not cost that much to manufacture these dolls. Even if the Kylie dolls didn't sell well, MGA probably sold enough to cover costs. The dolls just didn't do the numbers they wanted. Most companies put a huge markup on their products and make huge profits. These companies are not losing money. The mean girls drops are just there to promote the company's segway into collabs that are overpriced so they can get as much money from customers as possible.

One thing I don't hear a lot of people mentioning is that when Bratz came out, they had a lot more racial diversity than other doll lines, and to this day, I think Bratz has a diverse audience that really appreciated this. So for the first celebrity collaboration to be with a white woman who has been known to appropriate Black culture and aesthetics was seen as a betrayal to a lot of Bratz fans, and showed that MGA is really out of touch with its fan base. Whoever the next celebrity collaboration is, I think she should be a woman of color, who is also a bigger star than Kylie.

The thing about celeb dolls - is that it’s a 2 part. 1) is the celeb “likeable” and/or relatable to kids. I don’t think Kylie is. 2) do parents think the celeb is a good influence and role model? Again. I don’t think she is. I don’t think parents want to send the message to their children that they need money and plastic surgery. Being latino id be more than happy to get a Karol G Bratz, i understand not alot of people may be familiar with her but every one deserves representation and opportunity, with that Bratz has never shied away from being diverse and having good representation in all communities. I say the fact she is even considered is a great opportunity n they should keep it up theres numerous celebrities with different backgrounds and fan bases that support them. all in all im happy n i pray that she does get a doll or two id buy multiple. Glad MGA can represent multiple artists not just ones from the states.

Honestly they should just do pre-orders. This way they still have a specific amount and do away with the possible threat of scalpers. Open a link for pre-orders that will last 2 hours, after that link is closed and you can’t order the doll.

Sometimes I feel like they are trying to recover liquidity after the million-dollar loss from the legal matter, and they are reselling the dolls, it's all so strange. Also, now that you mention it, there are things that don't add up... So.. lets imagine you're supposed to be releasing dolls that are super limited, on various platforms, website, Amazon UK, EU, FR and even Germany as far as i know, At the same time you have enough stock to send the complete set to content creators and even those who don't exactly make doll content like the guy you mentioned, Then they make a special event at the cinema and sell or give away some dolls as well (?) And all this, with dolls whose box has no sign of having even been numbered, "This doll is 003 of 500"For example, shouldn't you keep track of the quantity produced if it's supposed to be "super limited"? How do you know how limited they are when there's nothing on the packaging to count them? I don't know, this is just strange. I hope it's just a joke... 💔 #justiceforfans

Honestly the only celebs I can think of that make sense for a collab with bratz is Charlie xcx ,sabrina carpenter , maybe saweetie , Ariana grande , latto , maybe Megan thee stallion , Paris Hilton , Rihanna and Beyoncé . And i feel like those celebs either have a bratz look/vibe and then some would just look good as a bratz doll

I know Karol G is popular in the spanish music genre. Sbes cute, fashionable, and her music is nice (ill bop yo if it plays, i just dont listen to spanish as much as other languages)but I think itd be good if they did multiple celebs. Like instead of one celeb with three dolls, maybe get a variety of 3 celebs and center around them. These could be either limited (think Gloria Estefan was a signature barbie vs readily available) or mass produced. But itd get more people out o feel.

I think the Kylie X Bratz collaboration was smart but they ordered too many. They should have did a smaller order and waited for reception via Bratz website, Amazon, other shopping platforms and tested it online first. Then did a store version ( based on the country) Hot Topic/ Target etc I am happy for those who 🎉got Cady. Timing is key. I know if they did a limited edition Euphoria doll set that would do good Pretty Little Liars X Bratz collaboration limited would do well. I would do an Elle Weiss, but that’s about it. My bratz are all originals, so I don’t want to mix up old and new dolls. Bout to go grab a few Kylie dolls so I can have them customized (not as Kylie). Not a Kylie fan or any of there family but a 5 dollar doll is everything to customize. Also if they can do a Kylie doll they can definitely do a Nikki doll, being famous for nothing more than your body and your sisters sex tape, it could happen for way more, not a Megan fan but hey , they need to find diversity collabs to do.

um gonna be that person and say i dont want them collabing w celebs at all. I really was looking forward to more of the alwayz line. I think its a bit of a waste of time to do celebs when it comes to a brand like bratz. Barbie and even mh have the creative license to mess w faces and screenings. The dolls are gorgeous but it was too late, Kylie is in her worst moment, people are hating on her, her brand, her relationship etc. The should have done the Paris Hilton collab with Bratz instead of Rainbow High. Again, the doll is great but idk, Paris just fit in with the Bratz brand. And about the Mean Girls, Cady was my favorite growing up, but they dont even sell her here in my country and with all this mess, when it arrives here is gonna cost at least half of my monthly salary. A shame honestly, I would love to have her even for a expensive price if it was fair
