We're at Brownland Farm today with Addy for a horse show! For the last 7 months or so, we've been leasing a horse named Ben. Addy's had a recent growth spurt and it's become apparent that we will need to step up to a bigger horse soon. So this is likely going to be our last show with Mr. Ben, unfortunately. Please Lucy remember and consider that owning a horse is (or should be) a lifelong committment for that horse. I have seen far too many get sold over and over - as they age - as way too many end up in very bad situations. A horse is much more than just stock. It should be a family member. Please be prepared for its retirement. Its so wonderful to see Addy enjoying riding - my passion (sadly not my childrens, nor grandkids) It was my life growing up. I hope she is able to do a lot of trail riding which is where the real fun is !! My grandaughter has been watching your channel since you guys began - and just loves your content ! Thank you for being a wonderful mom and mentor to a lovely lovely family. The best to you all !

Last time I watched you Addy wasn't riding I dont think she was but she is such a good rider and should make a channel all about her shows and doing riding ad giving tips it would help a lot of people. She has gotten so good and she did so well and she grew so much, my dream it to either loan or own one and I cant wait till I do at least one of them but she is such and inspiration and I really hope she does well in the future you never know she might be a champion jumper and I think she will be and I think Maya should give it a go if she wants they can be doing the same sports and she did so well on a horse for the first time, the first time I got on a horse at the stables I was so scared but its not bad when you get used to it. I hope I hope Addy succeeds in riding but she should make a channel for riding and give tips I hope you all have a great day x.

You did really good I would recommend getting chaps(that’s what we call them in the uk) for your boots as they help prevent getting your legs stuck in the stirrup leathers as sometimes when people jump it can get caught but you did brilliantly and I’m so glad you are happy and did well good luck in the future

Addy you have inspired me to ride. ❤ I ride western. My fourth lesson Stella (the horse) bucked but I stayed on but my 5th lesson she bucked me off. Stella is a light brown paint with white spots. 🏇my amazing instructor has kept me on a lead my past two lessons to help me work my courage back up. Has addy ever been bucked off??

I compete in horse shows and if you see this tell addy that she was amazing and you can’t win them all I’ve fallen off before in classes and not placed in classes or gotten low places but it’s all about doing it for fun not winning y’all are so sweet and addy does great on the horses she knows a lot about them which is amazing y’all always make my day💗💗💗

well flat classes actually depend on the part. the part called “under saddle” is all about the horses actions as addie described. however in the “equation” portion of the flat class they do judge the rider. in equation they judge only the order so that’s when you can collect your horse and make it easier for you to get yourself together

Can't wait to see what's next for her horseback riding. If you do buy and are struggling with trying to find a show name. I have a horse of my own that I show and I named him (for his show name) after my grandmother. Her name was Veronica which means Perfect Image. Since I am named after her I thought it was the perfect name. So I would suggest making it something meaningful.
