He's good, but dribbles and dribbles and almost never passes. Dribbles are beautiful and entertaining, but if you don't use them effectively, they actually become annoying because either you lose the ball, or you ruin a goal chance where you could have passed or shot just to look fancy by dribbling.

In my opinion he's a great player in terms of technique, dribbling, he can tare almost every defence apart. One of his crucial problems though, is, that he often dives to easy, not only if the panna/dribbling failed but also when he succeeded.

an exciting and entertaining player! people forget what makes football so fun to watch. PLayers like messi, ronaldo (both of them), ronaldinho, zidane, all of these players had/have flair and people adore them, there was a time when these players weren't getting all the goals and assists and people would write them off, then they started getting the stats and the whole world loves them. Regardless of whether taarabt starts scoring or assisting consistently in the future he is still a talented player in the mold of some of the greats!

Great signing for Benfica, even if he doesn't do a good season, it's impossible not to make profit of him, he cost us nothing, we have nothing to lose and everything to win with him, one of the best signings of the season for Benfica yet. Hope the best for him, and hopefully he will leave the lazyness behind, which I think he will, he wasn't happy in QPR so maybe that's one of the reasons he didn't give any effort, if that is it then at Benfica that will change.

He's at his best when given free reign. Play him as a trequartista and tell him to find threads in the opponents' defence. Have a solid defensive midfield (LOL Milan) to back him up and it's a fine recipe for success.

i think his season at ac milan has done him very good as we can now see him contributing more to his team mates than at qpr but serie a is very slow and and it looks very easy for him to turn and run at the opposition. I think if he goes back to qpr and the premier league we will see a better taarabt then we did 2 years ago but that's if they can keep hold of him..

Being a QPR fan I personally think he can't cut it in the BPL, the good thing about him is he wants to entertain, which every player should want to do. Talented player but no football brain. Italy seems to suit him.
