Bath-born Adela Breton was a remarkable 19th century woman and artist. In her 40s she travelled to the American continent where the watercolours she painted made a major contribution to Mayan archaeology.
Victoria Art Gallery is Bath's public art museum. It is open Tues-Sun and Bank Holiday Mondays. Please note our permanent collection in the Upper Gallery is temporarily closed for conservation work until spring.
