Blue had that reaction to the guy because she understood everything he said since she's in her homeland after all 😂. And I don't blame you for getting Starbucks. On top of the fact it's something you're used to, they're also everywhere in cities and it's something quick to get when you're busy doing other things! Glad that urban IKEAs are a thing and that IKEA has found a concept to attract a city-oriented demographic without having to go to the suburbs. Both IKEA and Costco are known to being very suburbia with huge parking lots, but both have since adapted urban concepts to get new customers. In 2019, IKEA opened a cool location at Westbahnhof in Vienna that's not a big blue warehouse but rather light and airy and built with sustainability in mind. It has trees all over the building as well as solar panels. The shade thanks to the trees, solar panels, and grid-like exterior reduces the temperature around the structure by 2 degrees. Around my neck of the woods, NYC has its own IKEA at Red Hook in Brooklyn. It's the typical big blue IKEA, but what makes it stand out is it actually has a free weekend FERRY service for shoppers!

Hey, I love your Vlogs. Just wanted to let you know that in France, we have two ways of saying “you”. We have a formal way which is “vous” (used for people you meet for the first time like taxis, Uber, drivers cashiers, and people in the street…) Then we have a more friendly way, which is “tu” (useful people who are familiar with). The respectful thing to do is to always “vous” a person because it is seemed disrespectful otherwise

Here's some IKEA history: In 1943, then-17-year-old Ingvar Kamprad founded IKEA as a mail-order sales business, and began to sell furniture five years later. It varies for every dog but since blue is a small breed she might not like jumping on high surfaces since it puts stress on their joints and spine (especially bad for dachshunds) I would just watch out for possible joint issues since she’s getting older
