She hypnotizes us with her lyrics and vocals. The background music is phenomenal. She takes us to another place. Her music is unforgettable unlike so many other singers today.

WOW!!Awesome reaction to a brilliant CD.Adele is in a league of her own. It was worth the six year wait. Even my teenage son was blown away by this CD.Amazing vocals and song writing with some bad ass production.Just a God given talent 🙌 🙏

The music of the opening and closing tracks reminds me of Disney music of the fifties and sixties, a fairytale sound that fits the theme of love (and her feelings here about love being a fairytale). What's brilliant about Love Is A Game is that while the song seems to sum up her experience, leading her to say that she won't be a fool and play the game of love again, at the very end of the song (and the album), she ends with an uplifting surprise, saying that she will love again, she will play for love again, suggesting that life isn't worth living, or at least it's something less meaningful, without love. She's matured as a person and an artist. Took many risks on this album and they all pay off. She's always been amazing, but never shown this much stylistic versatility or complexity in her vocal dynamics. And while she's written impressive lyrics in the past, these songs are studded with endless gems, lines that make your eyes widen. There's a lot of life wisdom coming from this woman now. She's composed a masterpiece, and it's hard to say which piece of it I prize most. The melodic perfection and emotional transparency of My Little Love? The too-good-to-be-true groove of Oh My God? The hope and hallelujah effect of Hold On? The unbelievably raw beauty of To Be Loved? The classic-Adele-but-something-new-and-even-better qualities of Easy On Me? Even the All Night interlude has a retro soulfulness that gets in your head. Every day the designation of "favorite song" on this album changes for me. The risk-taking and conceptual cohesiveness of this album are breathtaking. Anyone who can open an album by singing the line "I'll be taking flowers to the cemetery of my heart" to music reminding me of Bambi and Cinderella, pull off that oppositional feat, then perform increasingly impressive feats of emotional, vocal, and compositional acrobatics, well, goddam oh my god Adele, we're eternally grateful but does the world even deserve you.

Thank you so much for this comment! This is my favourite album of hers by far, I had so much to say but I didn't even know where to start when putting my feelings into words. You summed up all of my thoughts and took exactly what I felt and articulated it so wonderfully.

EXCELLENT REACTION VIDEO. You GOT her and her lyrics. Not everyone experiences the depth and weight of this album. A masterpiece of masterpieces.

The strings in the background sets the mood. Her tone for this first song similar to Billy Holiday.

So glad you didn't talk through the outro of My Little Love. That moment of introspection is important. I've been watching other reactors and it makes them so uncomfortable that they keke through it.
