I’ve been watching Lauren’s covers since high school and I’m 26 now. still so fucking in love with her voice. I literally would rather listen to her covers than the original songs, it’s so crazy impressive. Plus her vocals only seem to be getting better and better! how???! Ngl this cover put me in my feels. Unlike what most get from the song I can't help but relate it to childhood cancer. I fought Leukemia my freshman year of high school. I didn't have time to choose what I had to do, I didn't get to truly feel the world around me. Wish I had a shred of Lauren's talent if I did I would rework a few of the lyrics and create my own cover and lyrics but alas I do not. Love love love this. One of my favorite things in music the last, idk, 20 years… is seeing songs and music done in different forms. In my opinion, this is a perfect example of taking something and really transforming it but being respectful to the original. It really elevates it!

really loved the way you went about this cover. it was moving emotionally and i liked how there were bursts of happiness in the riffs as well instead of it being just complete sadness overtones it really added another layer to the song itself. production of this was also amazing. can we talk about the cinematography in this video and the scenery it is absolutely stunning! really set the atmosphere for this whole cover. i also like the black and white to color transition as well again really set the tone for this as well. also them high notes girl; slayed it. good job lauren keep on keeping on.

Just watched the Adele original since I hadn’t seen it. Love that it had the same transition at that spot in the lyrics. This songs giving me some strong emotions lol more than when I’d heard it before. It’s making me think of how rushed some of life’s biggest decisions have been. I’ve always second guessed my decision to go to school to be an engineer. It affords me a lot of things a different career path would have, but sometimes I think I’m lacking some of the spiritual happiness another path could have given on me.
