I’ll always be rooting for the comics more than any actor. Comedians and musical artists are to be praised and appreciated. In this often miserable ass, shitty life, what saves us? Comedy and music. It’s odd being a Gen X age person (43) and seeing the younger kids are so got-damn sensitive about every got-damn thing. Getting roasted by a skilled comedian is a damn honor! Chris Rock’s joke was mild, tame, and not even remotely offensive. A lot of these kids have never been to a real comic show and had a good ole funky time! Shit. Nothing is off limits. Comics are the ones who say what we think or have pondered but never felt safe to express or say it. I grew up watching the masters, and in middle school and high school, if I could help it, I never missed an episode of Def Comedy Jam. 🙌🍻
