Nicks voice isn't just "good" it's transcendent. There's a lot of people who can sing, but few people who can make you FEEL all the passion, emotion and subtle nuances of feeling contained in a song. I don't agree - there's no reason to hide his true voice. I even prefer the tiny imperfections that make it al feel live and honest. Lots of female voices with 'scratchiness' too though ;)

Brian Rexroad Joni Ikäläinen I saw "scratchiness" as a sound, not as being out of tune or the abililty to do better. I agree with the fact that on some parts he's not singing "on the spot" - sure he has to improve himself and his techniques - but the "edge" on that female voice... is something I really like in female voices ;)

Now that I listen more carefully, I'm even more impressed. He's NOT in falsetto, which has an airy sound, characterized by little cord closure. That's his head voice he's singing in predominately, with an ccassional slip into falsetto. He's got perfect cord closure and jujutsu the right amount of compression. What a vocal master.
