I first tried this citadel around when it came out and thought it was near impossible. I almost always died on floor 1 and I couldn't see myself getting close to the top. Come 2 years later and I finally beat it after a light 3 day grind. It's that feeling of well-earned progression in skill that keeps me coming back to this game.

CoP is one of my favourite towers/citadels. It’s really epic rising lava gameplay and amazing soundtrack just gives such a good feel, and it’s intensity is also pretty interesting too. Plus the volcano eruption is just something that you’ll never forget.

I know this is a random question but what would be some good beginner Remorseless towers? I've only done ToTS and I'm considering doing ToES. I've done around 15 Intense towers. However, they go from bottom to mid intense only.

I would try ToES, ToED, ToN, ToGaH and maybe if you're up for it CoSR. All are on the lower end of rem and are great for starters.

In my personal opinion, idk how people think that this is insane, i beat it in one day and i think it's mid-high or high rem. Just don't rush and practice the whole thing a few times before actually doing runs.

Without the rising lava? If you include floor 14 in that, then it would probably drop by quite a bit. Everything else stays the same, really, since floor 9’s outside is a softlock after passing it once, and falling below that means restarting. 10-12 are unaffected since the lava can’t reach you in time.
