What about the defenders? If they ship in goals the team looses. Surely they are the unsung heroes nobody recognises. Congratulations to the team for not loosing to Ghana.
@kehindejosephkashimawo941014 сағат бұрын
@alvanalvino I am not saying that we should not congratulate them. Of course every success deserve a congratulatory message. But how do you manage it to sustain or ensure the future success.? That is what is lacking in us in Nigeria and other parts of Africa. If you indeed love your team whether national or club, you must be able to see where they fall short in their games for better performance. The Ghanaians efforts were not good enough to win the game. The defence is not the only department in the game.. Some of those players for Nigeria upfront were lacking in coordination. Except for the outstanding ones who were determined and made use of the best chances.
@alvanalvino14 сағат бұрын
@ You are correct with your assessment of our team and this allies to Nigerian football in general, we had a very good female under 17 team that excelled up to the point of meeting the USA a team that is well coordinated, friends heavily in preparations and pit team had 2 red injuries and the coaches had no solution to maintain their momentum and they lost. We need a system that enables Nigeria football to progress as our teams should be wining the CAF champions league back to back year in year out or at least dominate it with 6 trophies in 10 years. Instead we have always depended on players individual ability which is why we lost the nations cup final too. We need a different type of people in charge to move us to the next level and those we have running everything in our country from the presidency to the smallest stuffs on the grassroots of sports, commerce and industry so not have the intelligence, the commitments, drive, desire, passion and patriotism to ensure that Nigeria success. Instead they are usually motivated by corruption. So where are the funded academies and sports facilities to nurture our children on scholarships to create an industrial chain of fighters who win year in year out at all levels. China did it for the Olympics. We have the money but lacks basic leadership skills to achieve anything of worth. We will get there eventually. When federal republic of Nigeria begins to perform at 25% of its capacity and capabilities or above that. The third class brains who rule us will destroy us across the board eventually or reduce us to dwarfs like we have seen in Ghana. To loose to Ghana with the state of Ghana would have been a disaster and the boys can forget their dreams. Nigerian teams need to be dominating Ghanaian teams across many types of sporting competitions. We have 250 million at home and abroad to just a few athletes and players from. Our teams should be playing matches against the Lagos 11. To test them. We should have state competitions that produces the best nation wide across any local governments to draft 100 players to select teams. Nigerians are very talented people and majority of them are never offered an opportunity to excel. This is the greatest problem we have in Nigeria, a lack of competent leadership and investments in youth empowerment. Our youths at those age should be taking on any African nations and dominating and demolishing them as training materials for the big inter continental global stage with relative ease as the super falcons have done since female football started in Africa. Just one good president can change the destiny of Nigeria. A first class brain who is very intelligent, very educated and will make the right decisions by putting Nigeria and Nigerians first in every thing. A true patriot and not a criminal like our illegitimate APC president. That is the only way we will make progress of we can just enjoy what we get when we get them and hope for the best. I still praise the efforts of our boys any one of our teams as they are always limited.

Though they played well, but, the only problem they had is to reduce the energy after scoring 2 goals, they shouldn't play like this else they might lose each game they come across, they should improve more. Anyways I wish them the best ahead of others competition. God Bless them God Bless Nigeria 🇳🇬 God Bless Africa

I agreed 💯. The god of soccer ⚽ was with Nigeria side. Ghana played a more scientific and organized soccer. They were not lucky enough to win. Nigeria coach should work on team work. The midfield is none existing. Too many high balls. Ghana shouldn't feel bad. Their team has a bright 🌞 future. Congratulations 🎉 to the Nigeria squad good luck 🍀 on your next level.
