I’m 60 years old and I’m from Switzerland (Lucerne), I’ve been listening to Elvis since I was 10 years old, I watched Elvis' live concert in Hawaii in 1973. I appreciate many kinds of good music, I also know all the songs of Johnny Cash and June Carter (Great) and other great artists. However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time, but in all his songs, all the power of his soul comes out. One could also say that he gave his whole heart to his listeners. On my way home the day Elvis Presley passed away August 16th 1977 I was asked to run an errand and go to the store for my mom the radio station that I was listening to literally went silent and then the announcer came on and his voice you could tell something was wrong he kind of murmured and said Elvis Presley at passed away there were no reports about how he passed but it was bad enough I still had a couple of miles to get to the house I started to cry not knowing what the world was going to be like without the one and only Elvis Presley I had all of his records to-date at that time. Elvis rest in peace knowing that there will never be anyone that will ever be able to copy you. Thank you so much for making a seventeen-year-old boy happy and thank you for making a 61 year old man even happier knowing that I can get on KZbin to listen just like I did back then
