Children born in the United States to foreign diplomats do not automatically acquire U.S. citizenship or a green card at birth. This is because such children are not considered fully "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States under the 14th Amendment, as their parents have diplomatic immunity and are legally subject to the laws of their home country. No Automatic Citizenship: The 14th Amendment grants citizenship to those born on U.S. soil and subject to its jurisdiction. However, children of foreign diplomats are considered under the jurisdiction of their parents' home country, not the U.S. Therefore, they are excluded from birthright citizenship. Green Card Eligibility: Children of diplomats born in the U.S. do not automatically qualify for a green card either. They would need to apply for lawful permanent residency through standard immigration channels, such as family sponsorship or employment-based immigration, if eligible. Special Certificate of Non-Citizen National Status: In some cases, children born to foreign diplomats in the U.S. can request documentation to confirm their non-citizen national status, which recognizes they were born in the U.S. but do not have U.S. citizenship. Becoming a U.S. Citizen Later: Such children can pursue U.S. citizenship later in life through naturalization, provided they meet the requirements (e.g., obtaining a green card first and fulfilling residency criteria).

For temporary visa holder(especially visiting visa), how can you just travel to a country just to give your child the country citizenship and run back to your own country without any contribution to the development of that country. And for illegal immigrants, how on earth will someone break your laws and still give him the benefit of the citizenship. I believe the order is a good one.
