Another great release from Adept! Only thing I would change would be that I would have just skipped the mattes and replaced those with shimmers. I think they should have made the choice of either making it a cohesive palette that you can get full looks out of by putting a couple of more mattes or if they really wanted to focus on the shifty shimmers than make it all shimmer palette. This is of course a personal preference, but I feel that if I would buy this, the two mattes would be just completely ignored because there is only so much you can do with them.

I love watching your eyeshadow palette reviews because you're not afraid to mix contrasting colors and cool & warm colors together! I also appreciate that you try to use every single shade in the palette so we can see it in use on the eye instead of a swatch. With these heavy glitter/shimmer/metallic/chrome eyeshadow palettes, have you ever thought of using one of the darker shimmer/glitter/metallic shades in the outer corner just to switch things up?

I am absolutely buying this one. Adept is my favorite eyeshadow brand at this point. No matter what I’ve done on my eyes, I add an Adept sparkle on top and it just levels everything up. This is the only brand I won’t wait for a sale, either. They’re the only one that is worth it to me like that. The ND duochromes or the CT or PMG glitter shades aren’t as good imo, and are more expensive for what you get. I can’t wait for the 22nd!

Wow! This palette is so glitzy and glamourous! I love that the mattes are purple, but can definitely see wanting to pull in some deep blue and green mattes for more color and some browns or greys for a more neutral look. I think I'm team look #1, but they were all beautiful as always.

When I heard that they were launching a new palette I was getting so ready to jump on it and I love shimmers! And all of the shades look beautiful but ... This this palette doesn't create many distinctive looks. It's gorgeous but the variations between the shimmers is too small, that and only two mattes and most looks will look sort of similar I think. And sure I can pull other things in super easily but I also have a lot of single multi-chromes I can just pull out when I use my favourite mattes. I might wait to pick this up on a sale/in a bundle deal. Thank you for the video as always Steff!

Gorgeous palette but I agree with you Re: the mattes. Also the shades are a bit similar and I tend to prefer smoother formulas over the chunky ones. So it’s a maybe for me. I have amunet and plain Jane which I love.

😆🥰😆🥰😆!!! I've been waiting for this review. I like that the purples aren't red based purples. I can actually wear those mattes! I'm ok w not having other mattes bc I have my mattes already. I'd prob pair this most w my CP all matte quad or my Huda Jaguar palette. I gotta wait for Millie's review tho bc I don't know if there is that much silver reflect in most of the shades. I really wanted a more neutral " special" palette and I have been waiting for this to launch. I ended up ordering Warms My Blood from Unearthly. Seeing this one I feel less drawn to it because of the lack of mattes. I have Heather Austin's palette and that has a few neutrals and cool toned.

Adept makes beautiful palettes, I think they should do a all matte palette to compliment some of the fun colors in all their palettes. Very pretty looks, but with only two purple matte colors hard to see the ability of the shades, if that makes sense.

I read your request for behavior and I’ll comply. That’s a pretty palette as well as a pretty look however I saw a full face palette by Paris Hilton that was prettier. It was at Ross and because I have more makeup than I can consume before it’s expiration I have to draw a line at some point. I learned something new! Glitter primer over eyeshadow.

The palette is beautiful! I agree with you, this would be a companion palette for me too, unlike the Ninhydrin or Plain Jane palettes, which have so many possibilities! I just wish there was more depth and variety in the colors. I see what they were going for and the color story they were wanting to convey; the snow and frosty feel, like Tom Ford's Soleil Neige release, and Cle de Peau's constellations quad, but with duochromes and multichromes. Just not for me!

I know myself and I never reach of palettes that are all or mostly shimmers. I know I can use more than one palette but I'm just a one palette at a time girl. And I love my mattes if a palette doesn't give me a good variety of them it's a waste of my money so I'll be passing on this palette.

Love these shimmer tones. On first impression I wish TOYA built up on itself better. Curious to see the shade on darker skin. I'm a Fenty 190 and these types of purples really struggle on my skintone (light olive, neutral leaning warm) If they had put a terracotta and plum brown that could build up on themselves, I think it would work for more people. Some of the shimmers look really close on the eyes, so I think there is room for more mattes. Hypothetically lolz

I love the looks you did but I think I'm going to pass on this one. I have so many special shades (Clionadh, Devina, ShineBySD, etc) that if I'm having to pull for mattes it's for them. If they had 2 more mattes I'd probably grab it, but at this point with my collection being so large, I am being more picky. I think they should have left the mattes out or had like 2 more. I have some Sugar Drizzle all duo/multichromes/shimmer palettes and I love them. Like I said, picky LOL. It is a pretty palette though.

Your looks are great as usual but this is a hard pass for me. Can’t do chunky shadows; I have sensitive eyes, to which chunky shadows seem to find their way in. Thanks though 👍🏽
