12:52 You can’t check your blindspot before making a turn, it’s called a BLINDspot for a reason lol
@leezhenxiang4146 Жыл бұрын
You can, you need to look back physically turning your head.. its taught in driving school lessons, but i guess most of the people do not even bother such basic things.
@Nabilllllll Жыл бұрын
@@leezhenxiang4146 Lol i what i meant is that you can’t do that by looking at the mirrors and it’s dangerous to take your eyes off the road for too long especially when you’re switching lane at higher speeds. That’s why side mirrors exist in the first place so you don’t have to look back eachtime you’re about to change lane. And i dont even see him turning his body/head when he’s manoeuvring onto another lane.
@leezhenxiang4146 Жыл бұрын
@@Nabilllllll He did, it was just a glance over there, normal drivers would look back to the blindspot areas... It is called blindspot for you to check it for yourself. What he meant was to ask people to not overrely on bsm on newer vehicles.. and on my last comment i specifically mentioned it is best practice to look back, you never know you will miss the blindspot areas.
@Nabilllllll Жыл бұрын
@@leezhenxiang4146 nope, he was just looking at the mirrors. in order for him to clearly see what’s in his blindspot is to twist his body abit and check, which i don’t see him doing at all based from the movement of the camera. It’s called blindspot not because you have to check it, it’s an area that can’t be seen with all the mirrors and blind spot monitoring system is there to tell you whether there’s a car or not in your blind spotThere’s a reason why Asean NCAP introduced a new protocol where new cars need to come with BSM in order to achieve full 5 stars rating.
@Nabilllllll Жыл бұрын
@@leezhenxiang4146 He also mentioned that people nowadays are getting lazy to look at the mirror and rely on the BSM to switch lane which is totally wrong because the BSM indicator itself is already located inside the side mirror for most cars. I can still tolerate if he’s saying that Lane departure warning/prevention function is useless but BSM is important and it’s kinda stupid and reckless to turn such important safety features off just because you think that you’re a seasoned driver lol

E/V/Vsensing spec better ya? Would like to hear your advice 🙏
@aderenlim Жыл бұрын
V-Sensing doens't improve any power and handling, it's just an extra safety features. Depends on your self, really need it or not?
