I don't really think Blaziken is a wise choice from E7J, 1st game get countered hard by Blastoise, 2nd game get stomped by Trevenant

Why would the Hoopa team start Ray instead of just defending when they had such a bid lead in the second game?

well they had such a big lead and ray positioning with eleki then walking in 100% that doesnt matter what they do it should have probably been a win if they lose ray they can make it to the enemy goal to still score or even break ray shields beforehand too
