ADF Data Flow Log Assert Errors

In this video, Mark walks you through how to configure data flow sinks to log errors for database driver errors as well as Assert expectation failures so that you can create log files of failed row processing. This will work in both Azure Data Factory as well as Azure Synapse Analytics.

Output to separate file doesn't work, produced file is always empty. Had to build this feature myself using a split.

One step closer to the Kimball ErrorEventFact and ErrorEventDetailFact tables. If you get more than one assert error for a row, how does it present?? An array or list for each failure in that row.....or another row generated for each error.......which could change dataset grain? And what did I tell you? Joe Girardi was the problem. Unfortunately, injuries are now killing us, but Phils will make the playoffs.
