I'm in championship league current rating I think 9k and I still use an angler in my hangar. Pair it with a hiruko to bump up hp and it's a monster if you use ability right. I run same weapons or I run teslas. Blight/hazard is awesome options as well

Bro who uses typhon now Typhon just get killed in 2 secs everything currently has shieldbreaker That's why I also stopped using mine And lynx against any meta bots lynx dies instantly like with only like puncher lynx you could atleast just fight meta and angler is just more viable choice it could sniper if u want it would me mid range if u want and it could be speedy if u want and if u want it to be tanky it could be tanky as well like this just tells angler is just more viable choice compared to lynx and typhon

@@greatevilbeast5780 Both Lynx and Typhon are many times better than Angler and both can handle meta bots far easier. Lynx is all around the top choice for f2ps as it’s just the perfect robot for taking beacons while reliably dealing damage and taking down enemies. The execution ability is also very helpful against tanky opponents. Also, you need to experience it to know this but using Lynx’s ability in synchronization with your mothership strike and active module allows you to be nearly untouchable, fully untouchable if you manage cover well. It’s just a superior robot in every manner to Angler. Typhon on the other hand is a perfect mid-ranger. Hazards on it coupled with River Chase and a few damage skills is deadly and many very skillful players make an absolutely devastating build with it using Maces and the Ghost pilot skill, or even with sonic weapons. It’s also a perfect support thanks to its ability suppressing and locking down opponents although that has received an indirect nerf with the prevalence of Avalon. That said what’s strong about Typhon is the firepower; 4x medium hard points is no joke and with the correct builds, can reliably damage meta bots and even titans. Now Angler, while not a bad bot, is just not fit to fight off the current meta. Some people manage to make it tanky but that is simply the wrong way of using Angler for the simple reason the current meta focuses on tanky builds, which are far tougher than Angler can get, so it easily loses in that regard. To add to that, the ability is pretty much useless as Angler is slow and the blind has no effect if the opponent has Avalon or uses Shifang/Leiming/Fengbao. I could state even more reasons why Angler is inferior and could give even more examples of better robots available through the black market.

I've been playing Angler since he first came to WR. He's just too good at being a jack of all trades to pass up on. Typhon is cool, I occasionally use one on my primary hangar, but Angler's ability to play with way more aggression gives it an edge in my book. Plus, bigger health bar.
