Sticky notes not only come in an array of fun, bright colors, but they also help keep our thoughts, tasks and day-to-day organized. Sticky notes can be like a best friend to someone with ADHD as they provide a way to remember all the things we'll probably forget to do unless they are wrote down.

Ah yes....me and post-its go waaaaayyy back! Lol. I have a rainbow of colours that I like to use, and even certain shapes 🌈 They help me satisfy my love for stationary (#stationarygeek) be creative, and help me break down big tasks into smaller ones. I also use them as highlights of important information in my planner. I also use them to put up random, positive notes to myself, my kids and partner all over the house:) And he uses them in the car to remember tasks when he's out and about. Thank you for highlighting such an accessible tool that can be of help:)

Not the back of the envelopes lmao I write on the back of literally everything. I've written on the corners of medical paperwork before and didn't realise that I was doodling so I had to ask for a new sheet of paper because I'd doodled flowers and birds and stuff on the pages out of sheer boredom from waiting to be called back to the office lol Now I've learnt to hand in the paperwork immediately OR carry my crochet projects around so that once I'm done with one task, I can pick up something to keep my hands busy so I'm not tempted to doodle on the paper ^_^' I also definitely love sticky notes, however. I have about 10 pads at each 'station' in my house so that when I get a thought , I can write it down and smack it on the wall lol I have sticky notes of all kinds from cupcake ones and regular square ones and pizza ones and cake ones. I love the more fun ones because it adds an extra layer of, well, fun! I absolutely love your videos and will probably be interacting in the comments with all of them as I watch them cos they're very entertaining and informative not only for the ADHDer but the non-ADHDer as well! I think that these videos will greatly impact the community in a positive way to bridge the gap that exists between the two communities

LOL, before retirement where I worked and what I did meant that I worked at various primary tasks for weeks to months very independently so I had a set routine for those periods. Now and then my boss would come looking for a specific calculation - onto a sticky note and put in a location where it wouldn't become buried then back to what I was doing, I would look at that note every day and make a mental calculation of how long it would take then back to my routine. A week or so later a way would come to me to make that calculation in five minutes - 15 minutes or so later I would have it done then pass it into the boss - he always thought it took days to complete that calculation 😛. If I happened to do it shortly after he requested it, I would sit on the answer for a few days 😜. For an ADHD brain that job was perfect for me - strong interest - ability to have seasonal and periodic routines/tasks - part of it thinking outside the box letting my mind wander (daydream 😛 sort of)... It was hard to decide to retire but now if I can get past procrastination I am on the go at many different things.
